The engine number HAM 44817711 indicates it was made in 1950 at the Tonawanda, New York plant for the Series 1500 pickup truck or passenger car. It is a 216 c.i. six cylinder engine that I purchased it to replace one in my 1929 but...it won't mate to my 1929 transmission. I do not know the history of the engine but the seller said it was running fine. We replaced the water pump otherwise it is as we received it.
