CHARRON PARTS WANTED May 2004 1908 Charron 12. - photo advert - Wanted Mono-block engine for 1908 Charron 12. See Pic. Does anyone know if these engines were Charron / CGV's own engines, or were they used in other cars ? The current engine has a crack somewhere inside the mono-block engine which is allowing water to get from the cooling side in on top of No. 3 Piston.The block was opened and stitched by a company in the UK about fifteen years ago and most companies we have spoken with are reluctant to go at it again. 1912 CGV Charron 15hp, Wanted.
